Service Technician »

Job Title: Service Technician

Department: Service

Reports To: Service Manager

Job Summary: To diagnose, repair, service, and install products provided by Signal Technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all activities are in alignment with Signal Technologies’ strategic plan and core values (SHINE)
  • Build goodwill with all Signal Technologies’ customers and teammates by being respectful, courteous, and friendly
  • Service, repair, install, and maintain all products provided by Signal Technologies in a professional, timely, and cost efficient manner
  • Provide documentation to detail all work done with billing forms to the office manager
  • Accurately document time and expenses and provide forms to the office manager on a timely basis
  • Assist customers and Signal Technologies teammates through phone support anytime during the normal business day and whenever “on-call”
  • Be available to travel to customer sites after hours and on the weekend when “on-call”
  • Service and maintain items that are provided by the company (computer, cell phone, and vehicle) and treat them responsibly
  • Efficiently plan travel in order to properly manage time and expenses
  • Maintain professional growth and continual education on products that relate to customer needs
  • Provide accurate prospect information to sales team
  • Proactively look for selling opportunities while servicing customers
  • Requests equipment and supplies for the purpose of maintaining inventory and ensuring the availability of items required to complete installations
  • Transports a variety of tools, equipment, and supplies for the purpose of ensuring the availability of materials required on-site

Required Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills:

  • High School Degree
  • 3+ year experience
  • Knowledge of low voltage electronics and networking
  • Valid Driver’s License

Performance reviews will be conducted annually

Business Development - GA/AL »

Job Title: Business Development - GA/AL

Department: Executive

Reports To: Director of Sales

Job Summary: Generate new and recurring sales of Signal Technologies products and services in the assigned territory. You are accountable for the sales goals and objectives outlined by the Director of Sales that help Signal Technologies meet the company’s strategic financial goals. This is an outside sales position focused on driving new business and revenue for Signal Technologies and encompasses the full sales cycle, from cold calls and site visits, to close. Qualified candidates will be comfortable and experienced in self-prospecting and cold-calling, selling in the field and over the phone - with a genuine drive and passion for finding new business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and maintain all territory initiatives and strategy as outlined by the Director of Sales (DOS).
  • Achieve revenue projections and sales targets for the company in accordance with DOS.
  • Prepare and submit estimates to customers in a timely fashion.
  • Log all sales activity and opportunities in company CRM.
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding pipeline risks and upsides.
  • Maintain responsiveness to customer issues related to management of escalations and critical deliverables.
  • Coordinate territory sales operations to best achieve projections and targets in alignment with core values.
  • Responsibly oversee and care for the company provided resources.
  • Efficiently plan travel in order to properly manage time and expenses.
  • Build goodwill with all Signal Technologies customers through respectful and courteous behavior.
  • Attend relevant company functions and professionally represent the company in manufacturer relationships.

Required Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Valid Driver’s License

Measures of Success:

  • Territory revenue, as well as capacity to maintain relationships with teammates, customers, and partners.
  • Ability to hold to and advance SIgnal Technologies core values and strategic plan.
